Now that Dallas doesn't race with me anymore, I've been getting more use out of my gooseneck.
The SHRA races are all less than 500 miles and are single day runs. I run the Vitamin C in those races as they're mostly 1/8 mile races and the Vitamin C is geared more towards that with the 29" slicks. Plus it is easy to short shift to slow to a 10.0 car - so light jacket and pants; open helmet; and no gloves and neck brace for hot Texas Summer races. Gives me a chance to break in the 572 ci engine that was a spare.
I've been taking the truck and trailer for these shorter (duration and travel) races, and since I bring Buster, I sleep in the trailer as the hotels might have issue.
I've been trying to organize it the best way possible to make it easier on an old man.
I'll share what I've done so far, and what I plan to do - but I'd sure like to see photos of what y'all are doing, so I can improve my trailer. I'm kinda expecting this and the stacker will be my last race car trailers and want to do right.
